Tonight, The Faithful: Women of the Bible, a new take on the familiar stories of the bible, will premiere on Fox at 8pm. The series gives us these familiar stories from the women's perspective, in three consecutive Sunday night installments.

The Fox mini-series premieres with the first two episodes on March 22, with Tom appearing as Isaac in the second hour.
A new trailer has been released for Tom's new project, The Faithful: Women of the Bible. The show, according to the summary, follows women from the book of Genesis as they navigate love, marriage, motherhood, and faith, as their descendants establish Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. Their personal journeys reveal struggles with children, relationships, and belief. Tom plays Isaac, who is the husband of Rebekah, and father to Esau and Jacob. The series will air on Fox over three weeks starting on March 22nd. Tom's episode should be the second hour that night.
The first episode of Robin Hood, which is chock full of Tom as Robin Hood's father Hugh Locksley, is available now to stream for free on MGM+. It will also premiere on the MGM+ channel at 9pm EST.

The series begins in Rob’s childhood, when the Normans first seize power, exploring the devastating effect this has — particularly on his father. Robbed of his title, position, and home, Hugh’s dangerous rage puts the family at risk, as his wife tries to temper his fury for the sake of survival.
The first reviews for Robin Hood are being posted, and it looks like this might be the hot new series. CBR was very positive about it, writing "From the sumptuous set design to costumes that instantly ground this 21st century take, Robin Hood never feels less than authentic." They also note the rigorous attention to detail and solid character introductions. Several cast members are recognized for strong performances, including Tom, whose character, it seems, really establishes the foundation of the show.
We don't have to wait for the premiere to see whether the back of that head is Tom as Robin's father -- this new official, full length trailer unmistakably answers that question. Not only do we see that it is indeed him, we also get some lovely scenes of him with a young Robin learning to shoot a bow and arrow, and the trailer ends with his words of wisdom to his son in voiceover.
The ten episode series premieres with its first two episodes on November 2nd on MGM+.

Another new project has been announced for Tom! He will be starring as Isaac in The Faithful, along with Alexa Davalos who plays Rebekah, in a limited series from Fox based on the Book of Genesis in the Old Testament. The series will premiere on March 22nd, and run for three weeks to Easter, with two 1 hour episodes each week. The whole series will feature stories told from the perspective of 5 women. We can expect a premiere on MGM+ in December, though no exact date has been released, and there will be six 45-minute episodes. So far no set photos have snuck out, but there is always lots of promotion for flashy new shows, so we have that to look forward to in the fall and winter.
