The Ex-Wife, a 2022 international success for Paramount+ UK, has been renewed for a second season, and is reportedly already shooting in Cyprus.

The second series takes a 3 year time jump, where we find (warning: spoiler alert if you haven't watched the first season!) Tasha, played by Celine Buckens, hiding out on the Greek island under an assumed name. She gets word of Jack, played by Tom, getting out of prison, and the twists and turns begin anew. According to a synopsis in the press release, “With the shadow of the past haunting all three characters, attempts at moving on only bring them closer together, but who can each of them really trust, and can anyone truly change?”

Janet Montgomery, however, will not be returning for season two. Katie McGrath (Supergirl, Merlin) is stepping in to the titular role of Jack's ex-wife.
