Podcast: Tom Talks Cruel Intentions

Podcast Like It's 1999

Phil Iscove, creator of Sleepy Hollow and current writer for ABC drama Station 19, created a podcast that covers the abundance of excellent movies released in 1999. Each week, Phil and his co-host Kenny chat with guests about a movie of the guest's choice from that year. Tom skyped in for a nice long conversation about the movie Cruel Intentions, starring Reese Witherspoon, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Ryan Phillipe and Selma Blair. You can find the podcast on iTunes or wherever you normally get your podcasts (don't forget to leave a review!) or use this link

NOTE: Tom stresses early on in the podcast that he finds this movie pretty problematic and did not actually choose it.

Happy Birthday, Tom!

Today we celebrate Tom Mison,

the man with the best left eyebrow

and the nicest calves in the business.

He is charming,

and very, very humble.

Please give a tip o' the hat to Tom,

and wish him the most wonderful of birthdays.

Here's hoping he has a fantastic day filled with joy and laughter and many happy returns.

Feel free to leave your birthday greetings below in the comments, or tweet them today using the hashtag #TMisBDay. No guarantee he'll see them, but putting good wishes out into the world is never a bad idea, eh?

"Brit actor Tom Mison (pictured, with Nicole Beharie) banishes all thoughts of Johnny Depp in the film version with a casually charismatic turn as Ichabod Crane"

Watchmen: Tom Cast in HBO Pilot

TVLine is reporting that Tom has joined an incredible cast that includes Jeremy Irons and Regina King, in the HBO pilot based on the comic series of the same name. Damon Lindelof (Lost, The Leftovers) wrote the pilot and will serve as the Executive Producer. TVLine is reporting that Tom has a lead role, but nothing else is known beyond that. Lindelof has commented that the show is not an adaptation of the original comics, but takes place in the same world in present day. The pilot wrapped shooting in Atlanta, GA a couple of days ago. Stay tuned for more details!
