Suicide Brothers: in London Short Film Festival

According to a 'tweet' from the Brownlee Brothers, The Continuing and Lamentable Saga of the Suicide Brothers has been accepted into the London Short Film Festival.  The Festival will run from January 8-17, 2010.  The official announcement of the schedule will be made on December 1st, according to the festival's website.    We will announce the screening time(s) as soon as they are available!

Lost in Austen: Austen vs Bronte on Canadian TV

Lucky Canadians get to see quite a schedule of classics during Viva's Austen and Bronte: Poetry and Prose movie event, starting November 1st.  Among others, viewers can get their fill of Matthew MacFadyen in Pride and Prejudice (November 1st at 9pm), or JJ Feild in Northanger Abbey (November 15th at 9pm).  Most importantly, however, the most discerning of viewers can get their Tom Mison fix when the mini-series Lost in Austen will air, in its entirety, in back to back episodes on November 29th, beginning at 7pm. 

When The Rain Stops Falling: Theatre Awards Long List

When the Rain Stops Falling has made the long list for The Evening Standard 2009 Theatre Awards.  Tom starred in the play from May through July at the Almeida theater alongside a talented cast, including Simon Burke and Naomi Bentley.  The list will be narrowed down next week, and the awards given out on November 23rd.

Suicide Brothers Accepted Into Foyle Film Festival

The Continuing and Lamentable Saga of the Suicide Brothers has been accepted into the 22nd Foyle Film Festival

The festival takes place in Derry, Ireland from November 20th through November 28th.  The Suicide Brothers will screen with other short films in the International Shorts Package 1 on November 21 at 2pm in the newly refurbished Nerve Center Cinema 2.

The film will be in competition for the Light in Motion Award for Best International Short.  The winner of this award will be able to submit their film for Oscar consideration.
